Stop answering “what's the wifi password?”
Updated 2026-10-16
The same guest questions return every stay. Put wifi, parking and check-in on the booking link before you type them again.
“What's the wifi?” is rarely the first real question. Parking, the door and the arrival time come first. The pattern repeats with every booking.
Put the stable answers in the guidebook and in check-in. The guest uses the same link on their phone. You keep the inbox for what changes: a late train, a broken lamp, a question the book does not answer.
A digital guidebook only works if the guest sees it before they are annoyed. Schedule the message with the link, as in when to send which message.
Do not automate an apology. Facts can be scheduled. A cleaning complaint needs a person.

No. Keep the channel. Let the fixed facts live in the portal so chat is for exceptions.
What if the guest never opens the link?
Send it again on arrival day. It is the same link, not a new document.
