How to charge for early check-in and late check-out
Updated 2026-10-16
Offer early check-in and late check-out as a paid extra, with a limit your cleaning day can survive.
Early check-in is not a favour you promise in chat and forget to tell the cleaner. It is an extra with a price, a latest time and a yes or no.
Publish the rule: for example from noon, for a fixed fee, only if the previous guest has left. The guest sees it in the portal, next to check-in, and pays there. You see the payment on the booking. The cleaner sees that the property must be free sooner, or will stay occupied longer.
Late check-out is the same rule on the other side of the day. Other extras guests actually buy are in vacation rental upsells.
This is guest payment, not your subscription. The Guest App prices are on the homepage and come from the current price list.
Questions on this topic
Do I have to allow early check-in?
No. Offer it when the turnover allows. A paid yes without a cleaning window is still a problem.
Where does the guest pay?
In the portal, on the same link as check-in. Card payments go through the payment provider, not a side chat.
