What guests say

What guests say

Waking up with the forest right behind the deck is magic. Compact but nothing is missing — and Apenheul is a morning walk.

Yuki Tanaka

Perfect base for Het Loo and a quiet evening BBQ. Hosts replied in minutes when we asked about the EV charger.

Claire Bennett

Kids loved the loft. Julianatoren the next morning was easy. Only note: bring slippers, the ladder rungs are smooth.

Frequently asked questions

Is the loft suitable for children?+

The ladder is steep. Children 8+ usually love it. For toddlers we recommend the sofa bed downstairs or a travel cot (baby package).

Can I work from the tiny house?+

Wi-Fi is strong and there is a small desk at the window. House rules still require recreational use — no client visits or all-day video-call offices.

How far is Paleis Het Loo?+

About 12 minutes by bike via Jachtlaan, 8 minutes by car, 35 minutes on foot through Berg en Bos.

Where do I park?+

On the gravel driveway beside the cedar deck — one car, a second compact car behind it. Do not park on Soerenseweg. Bicycles go in the left shed.

How do I get in?+

Self check-in from 15:00. Key safe on the left doorframe, code 7391. Push the lid down, enter the code, pull the shackle. Lights panel is just inside.

Can I bring a dog?+

One well-behaved dog up to 20 kg is welcome (€25 pet fee). Keep off the sofa and loft bed. Waste bags hang by the back door.
